No sign of spring here in Northern New Mexico, so I brought in some flowers from Southern California. I didn't have the macro with me, these are all shot at 200mm, two stops down to make the background dark.
Thanks for the color and beauty! still very much winter here in Wyoming. I submitted this to the April plant carnival ... I'll let you know if it's posted.
Oh Gosh ... they're all very good ... not that I'm surprised of course ... the colour and composition are all great. We descend into autumn here ... the seasonal rains and winds have not arrived ... all turns dry and crispy ... the dams dry up and dwindle.
Thanks, Geoff, really happy you like them, knowing you're the master of flower shots! :-) I was happy I could make the most out of the harsh light. So, as I wait for spring I'll be looking forward to your fall pictures. :-)
Guys, all these comments make me so happy, thank you all! I miss not being able to be here more often, but I have a new science post coming up this week, I hope you'll enjoy it.

Those are lovely. I really like that technique here.
ReplyDeleteSpring refuses to arrive here either.
Thank you, Steve! Hopefully we'll get Spring soon... before Summer comes, all of a sudden!
