Beautiful. Just beautiful. (We don't get many Aspens in this part of the world.)
Thanks, John, I'm glad you like them. I only had a polarizer here. A GND would've helped, as the foreground came out too dark and I had to edit it to make it stand out more. I really need to get a filter holder, when I thread together multiple filters I get horrid vignetting, and that's why here I opted for one filter only.
These are enchanting! I can imagine lying down on the ground and looking up to see the sun shining through the golden leaves. I can see that New Mexico is truly the land of the light as well as warm rich colors of the earth. Thank you for taking me along with you!
so happy you liked them, Carolyn! thank you!
oohh -- nice! I love this time of year!! I stumbled upon multi-colored aspen last week, and have photos waiting for their moment in the blogosphere, hopefully soon.
Thanks so much, Kat!Can't wait to see your pictures, Hollis, you probably get some awesome colors over there too, right?
I caught the aspen while passing through Utah mountains. Now I'm on the California coast where the poor deprived inhabitants don't get to experience wonderful changes of seasons ;-)
Oh, sheesh, those poor Californians... Can I come join you in that deprived part of the world? :-)
