The two ends of the spectrum
E.L. Doctorow said: "Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia."
Then, by analogy, scientific research must be a socially acceptable form of autism.

What I love most about this sculpture is that you can tell without any doubt that they are a man and a woman, and yet, if you look closely, the differences are so subtle. Chin, nose, and proportions. Wow!
