Immensely creative and technically brilliant, Elena. Seriously, can you say from where or how your ideas emerge, particularly for a theme like this series?
thanks, Mike! I can tell you, but I'm afraid the answer will not be very... er... poetic. :-)
For all of the images above I made the background first. Sometimes I see an image and I immediately think of the story that goes with it, but it doesn't always happen that way. In this case I had all these backgrounds already made -- images that struck me at the time I saw them and edited and everything, but didn't have a story to go with them yet, so I set them aside.
Then I went to this store and there was a whole isle filled with wall clocks and I had my camera with me and so I took pictures. And that's when the ideas started rolling ... :-)
